Another winner from potent family

One of WS’s most productive families was on the board again in Australia yesterday. Earlier in the week, the Gr 2 Sandown Guineas contender Ngarimu struck for Peter Moody and at Warwick Farm on Wednesday it was the turn of Chris Waller’s Torgersen.
By Savabeel, Ngarimu is out of Glamour Puss and Torgersen is a son of the dual Group One winner’s half-sister Oh So Glam. By Pins, he was making his fourth appearance following a first-up placing earlier this month.
Waller went to $170,000 at Karaka last year to secure Torgersen out of WS’s Premier Sale consignment. Bred by Garry Chittick, he is the first foal of O’Reilly’s daughter Oh SO Glam to race.
