No Excuse Needed Mounts Two Pronged Attack on Guineas

The G1 sire No Excuse Needed mounts a two pronged attack in the Listed Wanganui Guineas (1340m) this Saturday.

The sire’s first chance is Snow Excuse, who will jump from barrier 10 with Michael Coleman in the irons.

Trained by Ralph Manning, Snow Excuse ran away with the Listed Levin Stakes (1200m) at his last start.

No Excuse Needed’s second chance is Evan and JJ Rayner trained galloper, Taurus.

Taurus will be piloted from gate 4 by Hayden Tinsley and is recommended to the task with a last start maiden winon August 20.

A couple of years ago, I hosted a number of friends and family at a local restaurant to enjoy my 80th birthday. Fall off and you are left treading water, reminds you of racing. Here we are, with multiple hints of navigation hanging on to the rope hoping for salvation.
