Fabulous win for family

Fabulous November got his timing right on two fronts when he won again in Hong Kong last night. Not only did he record his third success from just 10 starts, the Pins four-year-old also drew further attention to his half-sister (Lot 30) by Savabeel to be offered by WS during next year’s Premier Sale at Karaka.

They are out of the O’Reilly mare Glitzy, who won nine races including the Listed Rotorua Stakes. Her other two foals by Pins to race have been the smart sprinter Sequin (Huffer) and the Australian-based multiple winner Glintz.

Trained by Richard Gibson, Fabulous November was ridden by Zac Purton in his latest Sha Tin victory over 1400 metres. The gelding was a $300,000 Karaka purchase by the Hong Kong Jockey Club in 2011.
