WS roll continues

Following on from their Karaka sales success, WS struck in Hong Kong last night when Circuit Fortune opened his account. The farm claimed the leading vendor title at the Premier Sale for the first time and their graduate maintained that winning momentum with a victory at Sha Tin off the back of a lengthy lay-off.

Trained by Manfred Man, the three-year-old was returning from a seven month break and got the job done with the benefit of two recent trials. He was an $85,000 purchase for the Hong Kong Jockey Club in 2012 and is out of Danasinga mare Saucy.

A sister to the dual Group Two winner Ugachaka, she has now produced three winners. WS sold Circuit Breaker’s brother to John Hawkes for $50,000 during the Premier session at Karaka last week.
