Sequin Stars For Glitzy

Glitzy was a quality performer during her racing days and the O’Reilly mare is proving equally productive as a broodmare. The winner of nine races including the Listed Rotorua Stakes, she has had two foals to the races so far with Glintz (Pins) having five Sydney victories to his credit and a placing in the Gr 3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup.

His sister Sequin has been retained by the farm and she now counts the two wins and three placings from six appearances after her Paeroa success today. The four-year-old is trained at Matamata by Graham Richardson who believes she will improve further with time and will develop into a black-type contender.

WS will be offering a sister (Lot 219) to Sequin and Glintz during the upcoming Premier Sale at Karaka. The family also features the Gr 3 Thames Valley Stakes winner Irish Flirt, who at stud has produced the stakes winners McFlirt (Kaapstad) and O’Flirty (O’Reilly).
