Diademe Again Shows Quality

The future’s looking even rosier for the Savebeel four-year-old Diademe after today’s Tauranga meeting.
The four-year-old had suggested she was above average with a stylish maiden victory at her third appearance and has quickly backed up with a strong display to put away her Rating 65 rivals.
Bred by Garry Chittick, Diademe was ridden by Opie Bosson and they sat on the outside of the leader to the turn. They were in front soon after and with a mimimum of persuasion carried on to win by 2.5 lengths.
Trained by Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman for Scott Richardson Bloodstock, she was a $50,000 Karaka buy out WS’s 2010 draft.
Diademe is a daughter of the unraced O’Reilly mare Bling and a half-sister to the Pins mare Shanstar, who has been a winner in a handful of starts from Richard Collett’s stable.
