Top family adds to roll of honour

An international Group One family came up trumps for WS in Victoria yesterday. The Danny O’Brien-trained General James posted the fourth victory of his career when successful on the synthetic track at Geelong.
Purchased out of the farm’s 2013 Karaka consignment for $130,000, the four-year-old is a son of champion stallion Savabeel and the unraced O’Reilly mare Splendid. She is a sister to the Gr 2 Hong Kong Derby Trial winner Unique Jewellery and a half-sister to the Gr 1 Australasian Oaks winner Marju Snip and to the Gr 2 Kewney Stakes winner Do Ra Mi.
