Kudakulari completed a lucrative weekend for WS stallion Savabeel when
he posted a stylish fresh-up victory in Sunday’s Listed Canberra

trainer Bart Cummings for the 1400 metre feature.

Savabeel had on Saturday sired the Gr 2 Kewney Stakes winner Do Ra Mi,
whois raced by her breeder Garry Chittick, while at home his daughter
Scarlett Lady confirmed her promise with a smart maiden win at Ellerslie. The
Graeme and Debbie Rogerson-trained filly has been set for the Gr 1 Queensland
Oaks during the Brisbane winter carnival.

Kudakulari has now won twice at black-type level following his success
lastseason in the Fernhill Handicap and he was also stakes placed as a
two-year-old. A $140,000 yearling at Karaka, the youngster is out of the
O’Reilly mare Oenotria and is from the Gr 1 family of Dorabella (NZ
