Progressive sprinter Adrenaline Rush kept his unbeaten record this preparation intact at Ellerslie on Boxing Day. The four-year-old came off victories at Te Awamutu and Te Rapa to complete his hat-trick on the opening day of the Auckland holiday carnival.
The Waikato Stud graduate is a son of the former farm resident Fast ‘N’ Famous. “We’ve got a couple of Fast ‘N’ Famous fillies as well – we love them,” trainer Stephen Ralph said. Adrenaline Rush was given an economical run by apprentice Zinjete Moki and the gelding closed off strongly in the straight. “It’s a big thrill and my best winner so far,” she said.

The Lisa Latta-trained five-year-old was a $45,000 Karaka yearling and is a half-brother to the multiple winner Jack’s Point (Pins) from the family of the top Singapore performer Nandowra (Savabeel).
