Seaway strikes again for Ocean Park
Ocean Park three-year-old Seaway looks set to make an early impact in black type company.
The Waikato Stud graduate’s fledgling career took on further momentum today when successful over 1550m at Canterbury.
With three wins from six starts, the colt’s progress for in Sydney suggests loftier targets are imminent.
Seaway was purchased by Star Thoroughbreds principal Denise Martin for $210,000 from the Matamata farm’s 2016 Premier Sale line-up.
Seaway is a son of the four-time winning One Cool Cat mare Miss Purrfection, who has a proven track record at stud.
She is the dam of the multiple Singapore black type winner Kiwi Karma.
Miss Purrfection is also a half-sister to the Gr.2 Sir Byrne Hart Stakes winner and Group One placegetter Cheiron
Mr Bombasa gives Banquo another winner
Three-year-old colt Mr Bombasa provided another winner this season for Banquo, who is having a watershed season with a Group 3 winner and performer also turning heads.
