Q What is your favourite TV show?
If racing isn’t on the TV my go to is definitely Suits.

Q What makes you laugh?
A Our dog Bella is always good for a laugh, she has way too much energy!

Q Career highlights?
A couple of highlights in the past year would have to be getting the opportunity to travel horses over to Australia and becoming a training partner at Kingsclere Racing.

Q Not many people know that I…
A Own a toy (crane) vending machine – it was my first ‘business’ venture at 15-years-old.

Q What do you do to relax?
I love getting a group of friends together for a round of golf. I also try and make the most of getting down to our family holiday home in Taupo.

Q Best piece of advice?
A There is no substitute for hard work.

Q If I wasn’t training horses I would be?
A After every episode of Suits I watch, I basically feel like a lawyer, so maybe I would try my hand at that?

Q Favourite part of what you do?
A Winning. I love the joy it gives the staff and owners.

Q What is your favourite thing about Waikato Stud?
A Their hospitality is world-class. You always feel very welcome both at the farm and the sales.
