Deserved win for Ocean Park filly
Good things come to those who wait as Waikato Stud found to their delight at Hawke’s Bay this afternoon.
Their well-related filly Pink Graffiti posted an overdue maiden victory over 1200m in the hands of Bridget Grylls.
The three-year-old had finished in the money, and unlucky in six of her previous seven starts.
Trained by Pike Racing, she settled off the pace at Hastings and once clear finished powerfully for a dominant win.
Pink Graffiti is a daughter of Ocean Park and the Centaine mare Escada.
That makes her an extremely valuable filly, being a half-sister to multiple Group One winners Glamour Puss and Vision And Power
