Symbio latest success for Ocean Park

Waikato Stud graduate Symbio is on the board after a deserved and not unexpected victory at Pukekohe.
The son of Ocean Park had finished runner-up at his previous appearance when resuming at Te Rapa.
“He’d come on well since his first run. He was stepping up in ground slightly and I thought the softer track would help,” trainer Jenna Mahoney said.
Symbio is out of the Pins mare Charlotte’s Sister, who is a sister to stakes winners Pinup Boy and Undisclosed.
Earlier in the week, another smart Ocean Park filly was successful at Te Awamutu.
The Nigel Tiley-trained Gorgeous Geisha was making only her second start to indicate a bright future.
The filly is out of the Oasis Dream mare Pussycat Dream, a half-sister to the stakes winner Tavy.
And in Australia, Ocean Park’s son Dramatic Moments was recently successful on the Gold Coast for the third win of his career.
The Les Kelly-trained gelding is out of a half-sister to the Gr.1 Cox Plate winner Maldivian.
