Mark’s Mail – 19 July, 2019

As we approach the end of July, it’s becoming increasingly evident that winter has really set in. We are enjoying a very mild winter here in Matamata this year and the farm is looking sensational leading into foaling.
It’s been another very good week on the track – it was great to see WS-bred Ocean Park mare Another Dollar back in the winners circle at Doomben on Saturday and Rock ‘n’ Pop put forward a couple of very tidy winners.
As a breeder, it is very rewarding to see a number of WS-bred horses among the finalists for the Horse of the Year Awards including; Probabeel, Madison County, Surely Sacred and Savvy Coup (all the best to their connections!).
The 2019/20 stallion brochure arrived this week and looks absolutely phenomenal – keep an eye out for it in your letterbox in the coming week!
Have a great weekend,
Mark
