No limit to family success

Expensive youngster No Limits completed a successful few days for his family and Waikato Stud when successful this afternoon at Wanganui.
The lightly-tried Jamie Richards-trained 3-year-old produced a dominant performance in the hands
of Jonathan Parkes to open his winning account in his first appearance since December.
The son of Savabeel is a brother to his stablemate I Wish I Win, raced by the Chittick family, who was
a smart debut winner and at his second appearance last Saturday finished runner-up in the G1
Manawatu Sires’ Produce S.
No Limits was purchased by Te Akau’s David Ellis at the New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sale for
$1.4 million and is a son of the Pins mare Make A Wish. She has also produced the G3 Premier’s Cup
winner and G1 Queensland Oaks runner-up Another Dollar.
The dam is a half-sister to the multiple winner Ambitious, also second in the G1 New Zealand 1000
Guineas, and her offspring includes the G3 Gloaming S. winner and G1 Australian Guineas second
Strike The Stars.
It’s also the immediate family of the Group 2-winning half-siblings Sportsman and Prisoner Of Love
and further back in the pedigree are the Group 1 winners Diademe and her brother Embellish,
Sacred Star and Vanbrugh.
