A Real Prince Flies Home for Dead Heat

John Bromley’s game O’Reilly galloper A Real Prince defied a seemingly impossible position and 59kg weight impost to snatch deadheat glory in the Coogee Walk 1200 at Taupo today.

A Real Prince had them all before him turning for home, but let down strongly under rider Lisa Allpress, careering home outwide to collar Sadist right on the line.

Under the guidance of Fraser Auret, the Bromley-bred and raced 4YO gelding has realised four wins from nine outings.

A Real Prince is out of the unraced Cape Cross mare Cee Cee Princess, who to date has produced the one winner from as many to race.
