A really outstanding record

The well-related O’Really might not have been a star on the track, but she has proved a gem at stud. The Centaine mare, the winner of just one race, has proved her worth in the broodmare paddock with a 100 per cent record.

The latest member of her brood to enjoy success is the Stephen Gray-trained Murrayfield, who broke his maiden in Singapore last night. The Pins colt was making only his second race day appearance when he proved too good for his rivals over 1400 metres at Kranji.

Murrayfield is the seventh winning foal to the races for O’Really, whose best performers so far have been the Australian stakes winner Keano (Pins) and the Group performer Be Delicious (Danasinga). The dam is a half-sister to the WS’s champion stallion O’Reilly.
