Boost For O’Reilly Filly

Quality sprinter Undisclosed added a fifth career victory to his record at Tauranga this week to further highlight Lot 150 at Karaka later this month. WS will offer his half-sister by O’Reilly during the Premier session of the NZ Bloodstock National Yearling Sale.

Their dam is the Centaine mare Dare To Win, who won four times, and she has also left the Listed Northland Breeders’ Stakes winner and Gr 1 Railway Handicap placegetter Pin Up Boy. It is also the family of the Gr 1 New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes winner Special Mission.

Undisclosed, a four-year-old son of Pins, had won the Listed Counties Bowl three runs back and was subsequently a close sixth in the Listed Newmarket Handicap. He jumped well today to make the running and kicked strongly in the straight for a comfortable win.

“He obviously handled the track a lot better than I thought he would,” Matamata trainer Peter McKay said., “He got a nice, soft lead and kicked on the corner and that was the winning of the race.” A $100,000 yearling, Undisclosed is raced by McKay and his wife Kim with Christchurch-based owner Trevor Luke.
