Collar Following Efficient Derby Path
11 October 2011
The Lloyd Williams-owned O’Reilly gelding Collar steps out in the opening event at Caulfield tomorrow (Wed, 2:35pm NZ Time).
It is the same race as what was won by his stablemate Efficient on the way to winning the 2006 Victoria Derby.
Collar gave serious notice as to his own G1 Victoria Derby intent at last start, winning the Listed Westfield Doncaster Stakes over 1400m at Flemington by 1-1/4 lengths.
