Cup Start in the Offing for I’m Jake

A possible G1 Melbourne Cup start is in the offing for the WS bred-and-raced Pins gelding I’m Jake tomorrow.
The David Brideoake & David Feek-prepared 6YO chestnut gelding makes his Cup bid in the G3 Geelong Cup (2400m) – a race notably won by Americain en route to his successful 2010 Melbourne Cup outing.
I’m Jake jumps from the ace marble tomorrow with a last start tick to his name courtesy of the Listed RM Ansett Classic (2413m) at Mornington.
Geelong Cup = 6pm (NZ time) Wednesday
