Famous family to fore at canterbury

Princefamous’ perfect record remained intact following further success at Canterbury this afternoon. The WS graduate was a debut winner at Gosford last month and he handed a rise in class with aplomb for trainers Peter and Paul Snowden.

He began his racing career with the Randwick duo after being initially purchased at the Select Sake at Karaka in 2013 by John O’Shea. It was little wonder he parted with $75,000 as the Fast ‘N’ Famous three-year-old’s dam is a three-quarter sister to the mother of Steps In Time, an outstanding Group winner for the O’Shea stable before he joined the Godolphin operation.

Princefamous is also the latest member to boost the winning tally of one of WS’s most esteemed families – that of top-class performers Glamour Puss (Salinger Stakes, Goodwood Handicap) and Vision And Power (Doncaster Handicap, George Ryder Stakes).
