Fast N Famous Proving Just the Ticket for Adrian Clark

WS sire Fast N Famous is proving just the ticket for well-known Cambridge based bloodstock consultant, Adrian Clark.

In 2010, Clark purchased 5 yearlings at the National Select Sale on behalf of Nearco Stud, two of which being fillies by Fast N Famous.

On Saturday, both of these fillies line up in the Gr.3 Lowland Stakes (2100m) at Hawke’s Bay.

The first selected yearling, now called Consummate (see picture as yearling), earned her place in the field by smartly shedding maiden ranks over 2000m at Riccarton Park by 1 ¼ lengths last week.

The second entry has gone a step further still and is none other than January’s electric Gr.3 Desert Gold Stakes (1600m) winner, Quintessential.

Mr Bombasa gives Banquo another winner

Three-year-old colt Mr Bombasa provided another winner this season for Banquo, who is having a watershed season with a Group 3 winner and performer also turning heads.

Ardrossan’s son Cannon Hill wins en route to Gr.3 Easter Handicap

WS-bred Cannon Hill (Ardrossan ex Vanilla Essence) won on Saturday, setting himself up for the perfect run toward the Gr.3 Easter Handicap at Ellerslie on 18 April for Tony Pike.
