First Horse to Trial a Winner for Rios

Young WS sire Rios registered his first trial winner from his first horse to race at Paeroa today.
Trained, bred and part-owned by Danica Guy, the unnamed 2YO colt ex La Cigale jumped smartly to be in front and when challenged in the straight, found another gear to pull away under jockey Michelle Wenn.
“He’s got a lovely temperament and was very impressive today,” said Guy
His regally bred G1. performed sire Rios stands for $4000+GSt, LFG in 2013.
