Glamour mare continues hot pace

WS gem Glamour Puss was outstanding on the track and she continues to prove her worth at stud. The dual Group One winner (Salinger Stakes, Goodwood Handicap) maintained her 100 percent record as a broodmare when her sixth foal Ngarimu made a winning debut last Sunday.

Raced by Garry Chittick with trainer Peter Moody, the Savabeel colt made the perfect start to his career over 1300 metres at Seymour. The three-year-old has been patiently handled and had finished runner-up in his only trial outing in May.

Glamour Puss’ first foal Heritage (Redoute’s Choice) was successful in Australia and he was followed by the three-time winner Hollywood (Pins). Vogue (O’Reilly) won two of her four starts while Beckham (Pins) is currently racing out of Liam Birchley’s Eagle Farm stable and he has four victories from 13 appearances.

Simply You (O’Reilly) was Glamour Puss’ fifth foal and she has won once in three starts from Danny O’Brien’s Flemington stable.
