Great weekend for Ocean Park

Quality mare Tofane crowned a memorable day for Ocean Park when she won the Gr.3 Furphy Sprint at Flemington.
Her victory came off the back of the Waikato Stud stallion’s son claiming the inaugural Golden Eagle at Rosehill.
Tofane is trained by Michael Moroney and at her previous appearance had reigned supreme in the Gr.3 Northwood Plume Stakes.
“She’s had a couple of glitches when things haven’t gone her way, but we’ve always thought she was pretty good,” trainer Mike Moroney said.
Tofane settled behind the leading division in the Fuyrphy before producing an undeniable finish in Dwayne Dunn’s hands.
Moroney will lift his sights with Tofane next preparation and target Group One sprints with the four-year-old.
She is a daughter of the Galileo mare Baggy Green, a half-sister to Group One winners Funstar and Youngstar.
