Lucia Valentina Awarded NSW Pronvincial Horse of the Year

Savabeel mare Lucia Valentina turned the table on Famous Seamous (NZ) to take the title of NSW Provincial Champion Horse of the Year last night.

Having played second fiddle the year before, Lucia Valentina usurped her NZ-bred counterpart with her G1 success in the Turnbull stakes for trainer Kris Lees, her second Group 1 success after victory in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes as a three-year-old.
