Magic Tricks One to Follow With Confidence

Magic Tricks again showed she was a mare to follow with confidence after another strike at Tauherenikau on Thurssday. The Garry Chittick-bred 4YO used her pace to good effect to post a first-up victory over 1000 metres following a seven month break.

It was the Pins mare’s second win from three starts following debut success at Hawera in March.

Magic Tricks is raced by Wayne Kitching’s Ashburn Lane Investments Ltd, along with Brian Hope and Alan Burgess and is trained by national equestrian identity, Bryce Newman.

Magic Tricks is out of the winning O’Reilly mare Abracadabra, who is a half-sister to the Gr.2 Championship Stakes winner Ellakapella.
