Mare serves further notice of ability

A WS-bred mare with strong Australian ties furthered her record in Melbourne on Thursday with the third career win for Notice Received. The four-year-old, who has also placed a further three times from her 11 appearances, was successful in Rating 82 company at Flemington.
Trained at Caulfield by part-owner Andrew Noblet, Notice Received has come back from her summer break in fine fettle and two runner-up finishes preceded her victory in the hands of Craig Williams. She is out of the Royal Academy mare Classique Royale who was a dual winner herself.
She is also a half-sister to the Gr 3 Swettenham Stud Stakes winner Apple Danish, who also won four times at Listed level and was a multiple Gr 2 placegetter. Notice Received was purhased by Nobley for $Z135,000 from WS’s 2010 Sydney Easter Sale draft.
