Mare serves notice at Caulfield
30 September 2013
WS made its presence felt on Group One day at Caulfield where Notice Received returned to racing in fine fashion. The O’Reilly mare came back from a three month break yesterday to further a tidy record with victory at the expense of a strong field of mares.
“She was good fresh-up last preparation over 1200 metres as well,” trainer Andrew Noblett said. It was the fifth win from 16 appearances for Notice Received, who was a A$135,000 Sydney Easter Yearling Sale purchase out of WS’s 2010 draft.
The five-year-old is a daughter of the Royal Academy mare Classique Royale, a dual winner in Australia and a half-sister to the Gr.3 Swettenham Stud Stakes winner Apple Danish.
