Mark’s Mail – 8 June

There is a great day of racing to look forward to tomorrow with the QLD Derby, Stradbroke and QLD Guineas all being run at Doomben. Ocean Park colt Seaway is my tip of the day in the QLD Guineas, he was marginally beaten at Rosehill at his last start and has put together three very impressive city wins from only a handful of starts. Good luck to his owners and also to Christopher and Susanna Grace who have Shillelagh running in the Stradbroke.
Savabeel gelding Live And Free is an excellent chance in the QLD Derby – all the best to John O’Shea and the syndicate of owners, I’m disappointed that I’m no longer in the ownership as I know it’ll be one hell of a party if he wins!
Thank you to Jasmine for her massive effort in producing a top quality Weekend@Waikato week in, week out. Jasmine has been busy putting together our annual brochure and I can’t thank her enough for the incredible job she has done. It has been a great process this year and we will be mailing it out over the next couple of week’s so keep an eye out for it.
The Weekend@Waikato and Mark’s Mail are going to the spelling paddock for a few weeks while Jasmine takes a well-deserved holiday and we’ll see you back here on July 6.
Have a great weekend.
Cheers,
Mark
