No Tricks on the board in Australia

Former New Zealand-based filly No Tricks landed her first Australian win in the Listed Daybreak Lover Stakes (1800m) at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

Formerly in the care of Jason Bridgman, the consistent galloper won two races in New Zealand including the Listed New Zealand Bloodstock Warstep Stakes (2000m).

Now trained at Mt Gambier by Wayne Walters, the Paul Smithies-owned three-year-old was having her fifth start in Queensland having finished sixth in the Gr.1 Queensland Oaks (2200m) and fourth in the Listed Ipswich Cup (2150m) at her two previous starts.
