Ocean Park’s son in hot staying form
Clement Legend has continued his rise through the staying ranks in Singapore with an impressive run of form.
The son of Ocean Park has really blossomed through his spring and summer campaign with three consecutive victories.
He has been untested to score at Happy Valley and a Sha Tin double over ground, each time being untested to win.
Trained by Danny Shum, Clement Legend was originally purchased by Raffles Racing at Karaka for $180,000.
He is out of the Montjeu mare Spiriting, successful on one occasion, and all three of her foals to race have won.
She is a half-sister to the Gr.3 Kingston Town Stakes winner Just Polite, the dam of the Gr.1 Auckland Cup heroine Ladies First.
Super Seth 3YO remains unbeaten
Puntin, trained by Bjorn Baker, maintained his unbeaten record with an effortless win at Moruya. The son of Super Seth stepped up to 1400 metres, dominating older rivals to win by four lengths. Bred by GSA Bloodstock, Puntin hails from a stellar pedigree featuring Group winners Shania Dane and Scintillation.

Waikato Stud graduate Mad Max (Maxmara), a son of Savabeel, broke through for a deserved maiden win at Otaki under apprentice Lily Sutherland. Trained by Andrew Forsman, the well-bred four-year-old impressed with a strong finish over 1200 metres, boosting confidence after earlier placings and showcasing his elite pedigree and potential.
