O’Reilly 3yo wins again
17 March 2014
WS made their presence felt on a premier night of racing in Hong Kong with a second success for a promising young graduate. Circuit Fortune won the class four sprint over 1400 metres at Sha Tin to continue his smart progress.
The three-year-old is trained by Manfred Man and comfortably justified his favouritism in the hands of Gerald Mosse. The same combination had been winners at the gelding’s seasonal debut in February, which was followed by a sound fourth placing.
Circuit Fortune was an $85,000 purchase at Karaka in 2012 by the Hong Kong Jockey Club and is a son of O’Reilly and Saucy. She is a Danasinga mare and a sister to the dual Australian Group Two winner Ugachaka.
