O’Reilly continues to make presence felt

The late O’Reilly earned further posthumous honours with a winning double at one of Singapore’s premier race meetings. Blue Swede started the ball rolling on the Derby card last evening when he was successful in the Kranji Stakes and Lim’s Reform later won in class four company.
Trained by Shane Baertschiger, Blue Swede was sold by the Matamata farm as a yearling for $100,000 at Karaka. The now six-year-old, who has won eight races, is out of the unraced Zabeel mare Hooked Ona Feeling who is a daughter of the dual Group Two winner Ugachaka.
Lim’s Reform, the winner of four races for expatriate Kiwi trainer Mark Walker, is a brother to the recent Australian stakes winner Bonny O’Reilly. They are out of Pretty, who is a half-sister to the Group One winners Glamour Puss and Vision And Power.
