Our Nautique Strikes Again

The one-eyed Pins bandit Our Nautique struck further stakes acclaim in the United States over the weekend.

Sent straight to the front, Our Nautique made Friday’s Gr.3 All American Handicap (1800m) at Golden Gate his own with a pillar to post display, fighting off the nearest of his challengers by a neck at the line.

Our Nautique is bred and co-owned by Rob Tunnicliffe, who races the horse in partnership with trainer Jerry Hollendorfer.

Prior to US export in 2010, the dual gr.3 winner was known as Nautique and raced in New Zealand and Australia for Kiwi trainers Richard and Chris Otto.

Since US arrival, the six-year-old gelding has delivered eight wins and five placings from 17 starts.
