Pin Rouge Plays Winning Game In Perth

WS made its presence felt on Perth’s feature raceday when the lightly-raced Pin Rouge furthered his career record with a 1400 metre victory on the undercard.
The six-year-old son of Pins has now won five times from 18 starts.

He was a $A200,000 from the farm’s Sydney Easter Yearling Sale consignment in 2007 and is out of the former smart racemare Fiaba. She won six times from Lisa Latta’s Awapuni stable and was also stakes placed in the Listed Christchurch Classic, fourth in the Gr 3 Eulogy Stakes and finished sixth in the Gr 1 New Zealand Oaks.

By Defensive Play, Fiaba is a half-sister to Gr 3 Lion Red Plate winner Crepe De Chine and multiple Singapore stakes winner Arenti. They are out of the Centaine mare Gio who is a sister to the dam of the dual Gr 1 Goodwood Handicap-Salinger Stakes winner Glamour Puss. WS will be offering her Pins colt during the Premier Sale at Karaka next year.
