Pins 4YO Adds Stakes Success

 Pins 4YO Adds Stakes Success
Undisclosed coped admirably with a major rise in class at Pukekohe to credit his WS sire Pins with another stakes success. The four-year-old made his open class debut in the Listed Counties Bowl and proved too good for his better-performed opposition.

The victory also came as a pleasant surprise to the gelding’s Matamata trainer Peter McKay. “I thought he might be able to run second or third and I tried to market him at the end of his three-year-old season but nobody wanted him – if they want him now the price has gone up.”

Undisclosed, who had won three of his previous 12 starts, is a brother to the Listed Northland Breeders’ Stakes winner Pin Up Boy. They are out of the Centaine mare Dare To Win who won four races and is a half-sister to the Australian stakes winner and Gr 1 Stradbroke Handicap placegetter Double Dare.
