Pins’ son Torgerson adds to record
23 November 2015
Torgersen doubled his winning tally when he triumphed for champion trainer Chris Waller at Rosehill on Saturday afternoon. The WS-bred and sold son of Pins made it two victories to go with his two placings from just seven appearances when he was successful over 1400 metres.
He is a three-year-old son of Pins and the O’Reilly mare Oh So Glam, who is a member of one of the Matamata farm’s best families. She is a half-sister to the multiple Group One winners Vision And Power (Doncaster Handicap, George Ryder Stakes) and Glamour Puss (Salinger Stakes, Goodwood Handicap).
Togersen was purchased by Waller out of WS’s Premier Sale draft at Karaka last year for $170,000.
