Ocean Park’s latest black type performer looks a safe bet to add to her record in the near future.

Pretty To Sea produced the best performance of her fledgeling career last time out when runner-up in the Gr.3 Adrian Knox Stakes.

Her effort at Randwick came at her first attempt at 2000m and augured very well for the Ciaron Maher-trained filly’s future.

Pretty To Sea was bought out of Waikato Stud’s Premier Sale draft to Karaka in 2017 for $150,000.

She is out of the Pins mare Pretty and is a half-sister to Stakes winner Bonny O’Reilly, needless to say, this is one of Waikato Stud’s most productive families.

It boasts Glamour Puss and Vision And Power, both two-time Group One winners in Australia.

The pedigree page also features their Group Two-winning half-sister Rare Insight, the dam in turn of top-flight winner Steps In Time.
