Procurement close to resuming
23 September 2014
Well-related mare Procurement will be back in action next month.
The half-sister by O’Reilly to the Gr.2 Reisling Stakes winner Hips Don’t Lie is one of a number of lightly-tried horses close to stepping out for Cambridge trainer Stephen Marsh.
“Procurement and Lime Street, who had one start for a win last season, will trial at Waipa and then kick off at Ellerslie on October 25,” he said.
“I’ve also got a lot of unraced three and four-year-olds and it’s an exciting team.”
Procurement has won two of her four starts and hasn’t raced since she finished fourth at Te Aroha in February.
