Savabeel mare Saavoya returns to top form

One of last season’s top fillies was back in business at Ellerslie on Saturday.
Savabeel’s quality daughter Saavoya was making the third start of her current preparathion when she triumphed in the Rating 85 sprint.
Trained by Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman, she enjoyed an outstanding three-year-old season with three wins. They featured Group Two victories in the Eight Carat Classic and the Royal Stakes and she was also placed in the Gr 2 Sir Tristram Fillies’ Classic and the Gr 3 Sunline Vase.
