Savvy prospect for future
The Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young-prepared Gottabesavvy looks a three-year-old to be followed
with confidence.
The progressive son of Savabeel doubled his winning tally from a handful of starts when he
effortlessly accounted for older opposition over 1600 metres at Pakenham last night.
Under a patient ride from Craig Newitt, Gottabesavvy lobbed along at the back of the field before
circling runners near the turn and proved far superior in the run home.
He has now won two races and placed four times from seven appearances for his trainers.
Bred by Waikato Stud, Gottabesavvy was a A$100,000 Inglis Ready to Race Sale buy for Busuttin
Racing and Clarke Bloodstock.
He is out of the O’Reilly mare Girls On Top, eight times successful and a half-sister to former
Singapore Horse of the Year Currency.
