Smart 3yo bags another one

Love Affair was back in the winning groove at Te Rapa on Saturday with an impressive display against her own age group. Trained by Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman, the well-related three-year-old came with a sustained finish to further her record.
The Garry Chittick-bred and owned daughter of Savabeel was an impressive winner on debut before she was out of the money at Matamata. She had a genuine excuse though as she was forced to race three wide without cover.
AT Te Rapa, rider Sam Weatherley allowed the filly time to settle before drawing her wide at the top of the straight. She finished determinedly to add another win on her family’s honours board.
Love Affair is out of the unraced O’Reilly mare Romancing, a half-sister to the Gr 3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup winner Somepin Anypin (Pins). It is also the family of the Gr 1 Goodwood Handicap winner Centisle (Centaine)
