Smart effort by Sacred Falls colt
A well-related Sacred Falls youngster impressed in his first trial outing at Ashburton today.
Trained by Lance Robinson, the two-year-old won his 600 metre heart under Jacob Lowry.
He is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare J’Lo, who has enjoyed a fine career at stud.
She is the dam of the Gr.3 Desert Gold Stakes winner and Gr.3 Sir Tristram Fillies’ Classic runner-up Glamorous Girl.
J’Lo has also left the Listed Pegasus Stakes winner So Elusive and the black type performers Libetto and Amazing Girl.
I Don’t relishes better ground
Improved conditions at New Plymouth suited I Don’t perfectly as the Savabeel mare claimed her second career win for Waikato Stud and trainer Allan Sharrock. The daughter of G1 winner I Do showed her class, leading throughout under Lisa Allpress, and hails from a family rich in black-type performers.

Gavin Sharrock’s colt Daylight Robbery (ex Villifye) is on track for the Karaka Millions after an impressive New Plymouth victory. The son of Super Seth was a $10,500 Waikato Stud graduate and boasts a strong pedigree, with his dam Villifye a G2 winner and half-sister to G1 Oaks heroine Miss Keepsake.
