Thorndon on Savaria’s radar

A return to Group One competition awaits last season’s New Zealand Oaks winner Savaria.
Trainer Roydon Bergerson is eyeing the Thorndon Mile on January 23 for the Savabeel mare, provided she runs up to expectations at Awapuni on Saturday.
Unplaced when resuming earlier this month, Savaria will be on trial for the Trentham feature when she runs in the Manawatu Standard Summer Cup.
