The 4-year-old daughter of Pins came between runners in the straight with a well-timed finish in the hands of Michael McNab for a comfortable victory over 1300 metres.
Image Of You was making her first appearance since finishing runner-up at New Plymouth last December in her second race day outing.
Bred by Waikato Stud, she is the first foal of the unraced Savabeel mare Exactly Like You and was purchased at New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale for $300,000 by Te Akau boss David Ellis.
Exactly Like You is a sister to the multiple winner and G3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup second Glintz and their dam Glitzy won an edition of the Listed Rotorua S.
Under the second dam is the G1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas winner Imperial Angel and the G2 Matriarch S. winner Savapinski.
