Xcellent’s Pins half-brother Instructor seeks black-type reward of his own in the Listed Murray Bridge Gold Cup in South Australia tomorrow (Wed).

Instructor has won on ten occasions and brings strong recent form into the race thanks to a smart last start win over 1350m at Strathalbyn.

Also notably lining up in the 6:10pm feature (NZ time) is the 6 time winning O’Reilly gelding Doubly Sure.

Savabeel’s three-year-old filly Wee Nessy impressed at Ellerslie, charging home to break her maiden in dominant fashion. The win marked Savabeel’s 1057th individual winner, with his progeny earnings surpassing $208 million as his legacy continues to grow.
