1st Stakes Winner for Fast N Famous
28 January 2012
WS sire Fast N Famous registered his first stakes winner in breath taking fashion at Trentham today.
Raced by Nearco Stud Ltd (Manager Adrian Clark), 3YO daughter Quintessential had it all to do turning for home in the Gr.3 Desert Gold Stakes (1600m), but sprouted wings in the straight under Linda Allpress, collaring leader Capital Diamond in the final bound.
Bred by Trelawney Stud, Quintessential has impressed this term for trainer John Sargent with three wins from five outings.
Quintessential is a half-sister to three winners and is out of the imported United States mare Florette, who is a daughter of Gr. 1 producer Sword Dance. She was unraced and is a three-quarter sister to the American stakes winners Magical Madness and Touched By Madness.
