TIVACI FILLY HOLDS CENTRE STAGE

A daughter of Tivaci from a premier Waikato Stud family was the headline act for the farm on Day
Four of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
The filly was offered as Lot 904 and she had an abundance of admirers before she was secured by
Curran Bloodstock for A$320,000.
The youngster is out of the Savabeel mare Magazine, who was a talented performer and won three
times up to 2200 metres.
She is a blood sister to the multiple Group 2 winner and Group 1 performer Forgot You and a three-
quarter sister to the G2 Thousand Guineas winner Acting.
The heavyweight performers on the pedigree page are the two-time winning Group 1 half-siblings
Glamour Puss and Vision And Power.
A unique offering from the Matamata nursery also enjoyed a strong following on Friday.
Lot 806 was the only youngster in the auction by resident stallion Ardrossan, who has made a hot
start to his career with four individual stakes winners from less than 30 representatives.
The colt is out of the Savabeel mare Jammu, who has a 100 per cent record at stud with both of her
foals to race successful, and was purchased for A$260,000 by trainer Michael Freedman, Gandharvi
and Stallion Match.
They include city winner Kirikan, who was also third in the G3 Grand Prix Stakes and Tawi, who has a
brace of victories to his credit.
Jammu hails from the family of the G1 Avondale Gold Cup winner Sharvasti, whose half-siblings
Bhandara and Shastri were both Group 3 winners.
