New Environment Agrees With Ioane

A change of scenery has had the desired effect on the well-relatedSavabeel three-year-old Ioane.
Following three below par runs from Annabel Neasham’s stable, he was relocated to Stuart Kendrick’s operation and made an immediate impression for the Sunshine Coast trainer on Sunday afternoon.
Ioane made his debut on his home synthetic track over 1400 metres and romped to an effortless victory.
He was back in the early running before improving wide on the turn for apprentice Cody Collis and let down strongly in the run home to put his rivals away by a length and a-half.
Ioane was offered at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale by Sledmere Stud on behalf of breeder Waikato Stud and sold to the TFI Ladies syndicate for A$240,000.
He is the first winner for the Pins mare Got It, who is out of a sister to the late multiple Group 1 winner and successful sire Sacred Falls.
Got It has an unraced two-year-old colt by Ocean Park and produced a son of Noverre last season and is back in foal to Ocean Park.
